First, let me say that this site is not meant as a doom and gloom, voyeuristic, look at the casualties of rock music.  It is not a judgment on the “Rock n Roll lifestyle”.  It is a tribute to the musicians who left a lasting impression on our lives.  It's a celebration of the music that they brought to the world.  Many of these musicians wrote or played on songs that made us cry, laugh, jump up and down, scream at the top of our lungs, and even bond with other people who understood why we would react this way to a song!  Needless to say they had a major impact on my life!

Second, I will not be writing all of the musician’s bios.  That's where you come in.  Yes, I’ll be writing some of them, but I want this site to be a community effort.  There will be many musicians listed who I may not have been a huge fan of or who I may not know much about.  But I’m sure they were very significant to some of you.  I would love for you to contribute to this endeavor.  If there is someone on the list or someone that I missed (and there are many) who means/meant a lot to you, please write a piece on them.  Ideally you can write a full biography, but if that’s too much just write about why they were important to you or how they influenced you or memories of a show of theirs that you've seen or your favorite song or ... you get the idea.    This site will be best if there is some passion behind each musician’s story.  That’s why I want your participation.  If you would like to contribute an article to this site, send email to Submit@rockcasualties.com  If you should see any errors such as typos, wrong dates, incorrect information, someone I need to add to the list, or anything else, please send to  Richard@rockcasualties.com
